5 Reasons Why You Should Become a Dudefluencer

-

After quitting my teaching job, I found myself stuck and unsure of what I wanted to do with my life. For the eight years prior, I had given everything to education because I wanted to change the world for the better. Without being in the classroom, who was I? Who was I destined to become? That’s when Rachel said the word: Dudefluencer.

Over the past two years, I’ve been studying men and masculinity. I’ve read hundreds of articles, listened to a bunch of podcasts, and interviewed the men studying the psychology of masculinity. The biggest lesson I learned was those successful men all harness the power of these three C’s: communication, courage, and community.

When it came time for the next evolution of Dudefluencer, it was a no-brainer as to where we should go next. Dudefluencer isn’t just a smart play on words or even just a media company. Dudefluencer is a lifestyle and community. Dudefluencer wants you to discover who you are, and craft who you’ll become. And now, I want you to join me to become a Dudefluencer yourself. But if all that’s not enough, here are the five reasons you should become a Dudefluencer today.

Build friendships with like-minded dudes.

One of the reasons why I started the Become a Dudefluencer program was because I struggled to build stronger male friendships. I didn’t know how, and online-friendly meetups tended to act more like online dating than actual friend building. So I set out to create a community for dudes to harness all three C’s: community, connection, and courage.

That’s why you need to have a community that’ll always have your back. Male loneliness is an epidemic, and becoming a Dudefluencer puts you right in the middle of one of the most robust online communities.

The importance of male friendship is often understated. It also builds deeper, stronger connections with those you surround yourself with. By being a part of a group of dudes who want to help you craft the best version of yourself, you’re destined to gain closer friendships with your team members and breakout groups. That’s what I love about the Become a Dudefluencer program. Together we can crush loneliness and hold you accountable to become the version you’ve always wanted to be.

Make a positive impact on the world.

Not surprisingly, I believe that personal happiness is a reflection of your contribution to society. That’s part of why I loved teaching so much. I felt like I could be a mentor to all of my students while embracing conversations around what it means to be a man. Every man wants to be a positive male role model for their children, their students, or their community. The Become a Dudefluencer program makes a contribution to a guiding principle.

There have been conversations surrounding feminism and what it means to be a woman for decades. Men haven’t had those same discussions around masculinity. That’s why our definition of masculinity relies on archaic models from television and movies. But times have changed; we are living in a different society. And who doesn’t want to be at the forefront of a movement and having meaningful discussions?

With the courage, communication, and community of the Become a Dudefluencer program behind you, there are no limits on how you can benefit others. Being a part of the conversation around redefining masculinity allows you to have the knowledge to share with your friends, family, and coworkers. Hence the -fluencer aspect of Dudefluencer. Giving back and expressing gratitude daily provides us with two of the essential elements of a happy life.

Learn important life skills that help craft who you’ll become.

What’s the point of joining our achievement team if you’re not continually learning? Personal growth is the other key (alongside contribution) that factors into a happier life. The Become a Dudefluencer program knows and understands that successful men are those that are always pushing themselves, and are dedicated to learning new skills all the time. Part of the reason I left education was that I wasn’t growing; my depression sank deeper because I knew I was running in place.

That’s why our Become a Dudefluencer program offers the 52-week challenge: a new growth opportunity every week that is guaranteed to push you out of your comfort zone while also providing you with the tools necessary to craft the man you’ll become. Some of these skills will improve our physical health, others may focus on our spirit. No matter what, we want to help provide you with an opportunity to continue learning.

The best part? You also have a group of dudes ready to hold you accountable and have your back no matter the challenge. There’s one thing better than celebrating success: celebrating success with the people who helped you out along the way. If you’re the kind of dude who wants to push themselves and craft the best version of themselves, becoming a Dudefluencer is the community.

Practice self-care to live a healthier, longer life.

One of the biggest tragedies for men is that we don’t practice self-care enough. Men’s self-care is about treating your body and mind with love, appreciation, and gratitude. We already know that the body produces cortisol when stressed. High levels of cortisol for extended periods cause depression, anxiety, and weight gain. That’s why it is essential we take the time to treat ourselves so we can live a longer, healthier life.

Whether it’s offering up new ways to cook dinner, or offering weekly group meditations, the Become a Dudefluencer program is dedicated to helping men be the best version of themselves. And you can’t do that without taking care of yourself first. Heck, we might even work on improving our sleep cycle because getting a good night’s rest can change everything.

Becoming a Dudefluencer allows you to learn about the best techniques towards self-care using science-backed research, and hands-on activities. Nothing presented in the program would be anything I wouldn’t do. Give yourself some time to think about yourself and what your most essential needs are. We just want you to take care of yourself.

Join a community of Dudes who will hold you accountable.

One of the most appealing parts of joining Dudefluencer is the reason this platform exists: to build a community of dudes who will challenge you, push you out of your comfort zone, and support you no matter what. The most successful men on the planet haven’t done it by themselves: Michael Jordan didn’t win any championships without Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson. Hobbs and Shaw found themselves surrounded by Samoa, and if it wasn’t for their community, they would have never saved the world.

Not only have we created a platform where dudes learn about themselves in a structured way. I know that when I get excited about something unless I schedule it, there’s a chance I never follow through. Sometimes life gets in the way; other times, we are looking for reasons to give up. The Become a Dudefluencer platform was built with this knowledge in mind, which is why we will have plenty of work done on your own time. We ask for just an hour of your time a week at our weekly team meetings to talk about your achievements, struggles, and anything in between.

If you’re looking for something more, then there will always be our weekly discussion groups. Dudefluencer will pick from a handful of relevant topics for open, honest, and courageous discussions. We hope that everyone can at least stop by. There is undoubtedly going to be a wide variety of opinions and lessons to be learned.

Conclusion

I’m so excited for the Become a Dudefluencer project. I’ve seen the results. I’ve seen a community of dudes discover themselves and take the steps necessary to craft their next evolution. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey, if you’re looking for a community of dudes to build friendships with, then it’s a no-brainer to Become a Dudefluencer today.
